It's playoff time, and Grand Blanc had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 49-30 victory over the Oxford Wildcats on Friday. The win was just business as usual for the Bobcats, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.

Grand Blanc got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jake Morrow out in front who threw for 226 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 68 yards on only seven carries. Morrow has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last five times he's played. Jeremiah Coleman was another key back, rushing for 120 yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Grand Blanc was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Grand Blanc didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Daylin Taylor and Angelo Chapman. Grand Blanc got some further help from Caleb Hill: he picked up two sacks and made five total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Despite the loss, Oxford still got an impressive performance from Chris Pullman, who rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry.

Grand Blanc's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Oxford, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Grand Blanc wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 44-22 defeat against Clarkston on the 7th. Oxford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
