Basketball Recap: GMG Comes Up Short

The GMG Wolverines didn't have quite enough to beat the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks on Monday and fell 33-31. The game marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

GMG dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Colfax-Mingo, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. GMG won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Collins-Maxwell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colfax-Mingo, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Belle Plaine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
