Softball Recap: Locust Fork Takes a Loss

If Locust Fork was feeling good fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Vinemont last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell just short of the Oneonta Redskins by a score of 5-4 on Monday. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Redskins recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Locust Fork's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Oneonta, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Locust Fork will venture away from home to take on West End at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oneonta, they will welcome Pennington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
