Softball Recap: Verona Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

It was a proper cat-fight when Verona took on Janesville Craig on Thursday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Cougars. Considering the Wildcats have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Verona pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Janesville Craig, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
