Mansfield extended their winning streak to 27 on Tuesday, bumping them up to 43-1. Everything went their way against the Boswell Pioneers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

MC Crutcher paced Mansfield's offense, picking up 16 kills. Crutcher got some help from Emery Thomson and her 16 assists. Natalie Peak controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Boswell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-20 record this season. Considering the last time they couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Despite the loss, Boswell saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emma Stuhr had 11 assists and six digs. Peyton McDowell also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Mansfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boswell, they will take on North Crowley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
