Baseball Game Preview: Los Banos Tigers vs. El Capitan Gauchos

For the second straight game, Los Banos will face off against El Capitan. The Tigers will face off against the Gauchos at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Los Banos has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while El Capitan will arrive with eight straight wins.

Things were looking good for Los Banos after they put the first runs on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of El Capitan by a score of 5-4.

For El Capitan's part, the team relied heavily on Angel Rivera, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. That home run marked the first that Rivera launched this season. Another player making a difference was Cooper Gaoiran, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
