Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Collins Hill

Collins Hill extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sa?Nya Jones. The Collins Hill Eagles came out on top against the Central Gwinnett Black Knights by a score of 40-33 on Wednesday thanks in part to Jones, who posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleigh Heywood, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played.

Collins Hill has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Central Gwinnett, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-7.

Collins Hill will head out to square off against Peachtree Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Central Gwinnett, they will challenge Dacula at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dacula is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.
