Basketball Recap: Hulett Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ten Sleep on Friday, Hulett came back down to earth. The Hulett Devils fell to the Meeteetse Longhorns 46-40. If the Devils were looking for revenge after losing 56-50 to them when the teams met on Friday, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Max Potas had a dynamite game for Meeteetse, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 13 boards. The match was Potas' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnathan Ogden, who posted six points in addition to six steals and five assists.

Hulett's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Meeteetse, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Hulett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-46 loss against Niobrara County on the 14th. Meeteetse has also already played their next contest, a 52-13 win against Arvada-Clearmont on the 14th.
