Flag Football Recap: Wilcox Takes a Loss

After soaring to 69 points the game before, Wilcox was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They and the Monta Vista Matadors were almost perfectly matched up, but the Chargers suffered a 13-12 defeat. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-12 back in September.

Allie Rummelhoff continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Monta Vista, rushing for 138 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 136 yards on 16 of 25 attempts. Rummelhoff's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain her lofty yards per carry total.

Wilcox's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-2. As for Monta Vista, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
