Basketball Recap: Mineral Wells Comes Up Short

Mineral Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 53-20 loss at the hands of the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-33 back in January.

Mineral Wells now has a losing record at 15-16. As for Stephenville, they pushed their record up to 17-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Mineral Wells will welcome Graham at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stephenville, they will take on Glen Rose at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Glen Rose will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Stephenville surely won't give up without a fight.
