Soccer Recap: Weatherford Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Weatherford kept a clean sheet against Blanchard on Monday. They skirted past the Lions 1-0. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Weatherford's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Blanchard are ranked 45th).

Weatherford's one-goal win came courtesy of Andi McCoy, who's now up to four this season.

The victory (which was Weatherford's fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-1. As for Blanchard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season.

Weatherford will be playing at home against Cache at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Blanchard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
