Softball Recap: Greene County Wildcats vs. Northeast Jones Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Greene County faced off against Northeast Jones on Friday. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 win over the Tigers. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.
Addie Tungett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Tungett was even better at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
