Oconee County not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 16, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Collins Hill Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Oconee County's got stronger as the match went on, holding Collins Hill to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-14.

Jillian (Jill) Benning paced Oconee County's offense, picking up ten kills. Benning got some help from Fendley Kimbro and her 25 assists.

Oconee County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Collins Hill, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oconee County will square off against White County at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Collins Hill, they will take on Lambert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
