Recap: Kennedy Catholic vs. Rocky Grove Orioles
Kennedy Catholic were the 45-23 winner over the Rocky Grove Orioles when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Kennedy Catholic fell 55-43 to Rocky Grove on Friday. Kennedy Catholic has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rocky Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landen Carter led the charge by scoring 20 points along with two steals. Carter has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Noah Baughman, who scored 16 points.
Kennedy Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Rocky Grove, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Farrell the next time they take the court. Rocky Grove will host Farrell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Kennedy Catholic will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
