Baseball Recap: NV - Demarest Takes a Loss

If NV - Demarest was feeling good fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Dumont on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Norsemen fell just short of the Passaic Valley Hornets by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Norsemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

NV - Demarest's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Passaic Valley, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, NV - Demarest will head out to take on Tenafly at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.64 runs per game on average), something the Norsemen will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Passaic Valley, they will be playing at home against Fair Lawn at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
