Everything went their way against the Port Charlotte Pirates on Thursday as they made off with a 19-5 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Fightin' Tarpons with their most commanding win of the season.

Dava Hoffer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Hoffer was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Charlotte got a massive performance out of Grace Lewin, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Lewin a new career-high.
