Soccer Recap: Cape Fear Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cape Fear Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Swansboro Pirates on Thursday. Given Cape Fear Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Swansboro are ranked 277th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Cape Fear Academy back to even at 3-3-1. As for Swansboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
