Alcoa had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 99-70 victory over the Johnson County Longhorns. Given the Tornadoes' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Longhorns are ranked 292nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alcoa's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Johnson County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-20.
