Baseball Game Preview: Uniontown Red Raiders vs. Ringgold Rams

For the second straight game, Uniontown will face off against Ringgold. The Red Raiders will welcome the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Uniontown's offense. They fell 4-0 to Ringgold on Tuesday.

For Ringgold's part, not much got past Tyler Fisher, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Uniontown off the board. Fisher has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gavin Angotti, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Kolano, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Uniontown's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Ringgold, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
