Soccer Game Preview: Gulf Coast vs. American Heritage

The Gulf Coast Sharks are taking a road trip to challenge the American Heritage Patriots at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Gulf Coast's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Venice on Friday.

Meanwhile, American Heritage also failed to score in their most recent game. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Doral Academy an easy 3-0 victory. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gulf Coast's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for American Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-4.

Gulf Coast came out on top in a nail-biter against American Heritage in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, sneaking past 3-2. Does Gulf Coast have another victory up their sleeve, or will American Heritage turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
