Edison hadn't beaten Minneapolis South on the road since September 5, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Tommies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 3-2.

Edison has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Minneapolis South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6-2.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Brooklyn Center on the 1st. Hopefully Minneapolis South paid attention to the Tommies' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tommies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
