Volleyball Recap: Linden-McKinley Takes a Loss

Linden-McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Cowboys. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 9th.

Linden-McKinley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-12, 25-8, 25-22.

Linden-McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for West, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Linden-McKinley will be playing at home against Briggs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for West, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Centennial on the 1st.
