Basketball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

Chester lost against Carlyle back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chester Yellowjackets took a hard 41-23 fall against the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians. The game marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chester has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Carlyle, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Chester is taking a road trip to challenge Okawville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Carlyle, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sparta at 4:45 p.m. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Carlyle has won five straight at home dating back to last season, while Sparta won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
