Flag Football Recap: Cedar Grove Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cedar Grove's offense. They had to suffer through a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Redan Raiders.

Londyn Felder was her usual excellent self, rushing for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 167 yards and two TDs while completing 90% of her passes for Redan.

Cedar Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Redan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Cedar Grove and Southwest DeKalb will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st. The Panthers' defense has only allowed two points per game this season, so the Saints' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Redan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
