Baseball Recap: Catholic Central's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Catholic Central lost against Weir back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crusaders came up short against the Red Riders, falling 15-1. The loss put an end to the Crusaders' undefeated start to the season.

Catholic Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Fayak, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Catholic Central fell to 2-1. As for Weir, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catholic Central will host Shadyside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weir, they will be playing at home against Madonna at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Riders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Dons have averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season.
