Aidan Martinez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
