Volleyball Recap: Lakeside's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Lakeside had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Chase Kats by a score of 2-0 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lakeside took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12.

Jaycee Remus paced Lakeside's offense, picking up six kills. Remus really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12. Addison Schmitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
