Volleyball Recap: Bishop Hartley Takes a Loss

Bishop Hartley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whetstone Braves. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 24-26, 25-18, 25-18.

Bishop Hartley's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Whetstone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Bishop Hartley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against St. Charles on the 3rd. As for Whetstone, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Northland on the 3rd.
