Recap: Dade Christian Crusaders vs. Monsignor Pace Spartans
The Dade Christian Crusaders were the 73-57 winner over the Monsignor Pace Spartans when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Dade Christian took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Monsignor Pace. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Dade Christian still got an impressive performance from Kenvenson Malivert, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Malivert's third in a row with at least ten points. Kevin Rojo was another key contributor, scoring four points along with ten assists.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Monsignor Pace to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin Bridges , who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jabari Dukes , who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Dade Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Monsignor Pace, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Dade Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Monsignor Pace, they will head out on the road to face off against LaSalle at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
