Basketball Recap: Achille Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Achille faced off against Milburn on Tuesday. The Achille Golden Eagles lost to the Milburn Eagles at home by a 50-31 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-46 back in December of 2024.

Achille has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Milburn, their victory ended a 17-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-10.

Achille has already played their next match (against Wapanucka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Milburn will challenge Calvin at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
