Basketball Recap: Stacey Comes Up Short

Stacey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 55-21 loss at the hands of the Brackett Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-17 back in December of 2025.

Stacey's record now sits at 1-22. As for Brackett, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Stacey is set to challenge their familiar foe Sabinal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brackett will square off against rival La Pryor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
