Wildwood put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Forest Wildcats 73-31. Wildwood has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wildwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kayla Lyde, who went 7 of 10 en route to 18 points and eight boards. Lyde has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinidy Harris, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 18 points.

Wildwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 37 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Forest lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ja'Niyah McCoy, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jiyah Hamilton, who earned six points and three steals.

Wildwood pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Forest, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-4.

Wildwood has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Jones on the 15th. As for Forest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-51 defeat against Lake Mary on the 11th.
