Christian is 9-1 against East Grand Rapids since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday East Grand Rapids sidestepped Forest Hills Central for a 3-2 victory.

East Grand Rapids wouldn't go down easily and took Forest Hills Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 21-25, 24-26, 25-21, 15-13.

Christian better keep an eye on Ava Chapman. She was instrumental in East Grand Rapids' win, getting seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs Chapman has posted over her last six matchups.

East Grand Rapids was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Christian's record now sits at 30-7. As for East Grand Rapids, their record is now 26-8.

Christian couldn't quite get it done against East Grand Rapids in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
