Recap: Altamont Knights vs. Cornerstone Eagles

With a playoff game on the line, the Altamont Knights rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They took down the Eagles 61-46. The win was familiar territory for Altamont who now have ten in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Cornerstone lost, one person who can't be blamed is De'Marion Burks. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burks has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jermaine Holder, who scored two points along with 11 rebounds.

Altamont pushed their record up to 19-9 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Cornerstone, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Altamont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cornerstone also has no future games currently scheduled.
