Basketball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Cerritos Dons 67-26. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1161st, while the Dons are ranked 488th).

Cerritos' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Benson Cho, who posted nine points and six rebounds. Nathan Ju was another key player, putting up nine points.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Cerritos, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season.

Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cerritos, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-59 defeat against El Toro on the 12th.
