Softball Recap: West Broward Takes a Loss

West Broward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bobcats have suffered since February 17th.

VICTORIA CARMONA was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

West Broward's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Pompano Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Broward will face off against Wellington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pompano Beach, they will challenge Archbishop McCarthy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
