Norwayne is 9-0-1 against Northwestern since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bobcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Huskies at 10:00 a.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Norwayne didn't have quite enough to beat Ashland and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, neither Northwestern nor Smithville could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Kate Johnson hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Northwestern's goal came courtesy of Savannah McConahay, who's now up to five this season.

Norwayne's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. Northwestern's draw makes their record 2-9-4 this season.

Norwayne took their victory against Northwestern in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
