Basketball Recap: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Takes a Loss

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee was the 51-38 winner over Habersham Central when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Rabun Gap-Nacoochee lost, don't look at Arina Pasztor. Despite the final result, she posted three points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Pasztor has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Inga Patrzalek, who earned nine points and six boards.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Habersham Central, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
