Softball Recap: Triton Takes a Loss

Triton lost against Harnett Central last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks came up short against the Trojans, falling 11-1. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Triton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Stanley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Triton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-5. As for Harnett Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Triton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Western Harnett on the 15th. As for Harnett Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-0 win against Overhills on the 15th.
