Basketball Recap: J.H. Rose Rampants vs. Goldsboro Cougars        
        
		
             J.H. Rose had to start their season on the road  on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took  a  44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goldsboro Cougars.
 Several Rampants players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Alaya Clemons, who  had 16 points plus five  assists. Another player making a difference was  Michelle Jenkins, who  earned two points along with 11  rebounds and four  steals.
 Goldsboro's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Imari Buckom, who  went 7 for 12 en route to 15 points.  Aziyah Boyer was another key player,  posting 13 points.
 The  win (which was Goldsboro's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
 J.H. Rose will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Goldsboro at 6:00  p.m.  on December 3rd. Goldsboro has already played their next matchup,  a  72-18  victory against Washington on the 22nd.
