After failing to score in their last match, Poca made sure to put some goals up on the board against Roane County on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Raiders. Jeffery Sams was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Poca's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14-1. As for Roane County, they dropped their record down to 0-16-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Poca wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against St. Joseph Central on the 22nd. Roane County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
