Basketball Game Preview: Shiloh Generals vs. Decatur Bulldogs

The Shiloh Generals will challenge the Decatur Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Saturday, Shiloh ended up a good deal behind Banks County and lost 56-39.

Meanwhile, Decatur was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against Oxford, falling 63-17. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 388th in Georgia, while the Chargers are ranked 40th in Mississippi).

Nadiya Mohamed was Decatur's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Kyra Collins held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Shiloh, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Everything went Shiloh's way against Decatur when the teams last played back in November of 2016, as Shiloh made off with a 68-46 win. Will Shiloh repeat their success, or does Decatur have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
