Baseball Recap: Oakman Takes a Loss

Oakman suffered their biggest loss since February 29, 2024 on Monday. They lost 9-2 to the Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hampton Hall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Oakman's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakman will venture away from home to challenge Carbon Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Brindlee Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
