Basketball Game Preview: Cox Mill Chargers vs. West Cabarrus Wolverines

Having just played yesterday, the Cox Mill Chargers will get right back to it and host the West Cabarrus Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Cabarrus took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cox Mill, who comes in off a win.

If Cox Mill beats West Cabarrus with 53 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Everything went Cox Mill's way against South Iredell on Monday as Cox Mill made off with a 53-30 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Meanwhile, West Cabarrus was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 62-58 to South Iredell. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Cox Mill, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
