Football Recap: Argyle's Loss Ends 12-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Argyle can now relate to. They were beaten by the South Oak Cliff Bears 37-3 on Friday. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Maguire Gasperson threw for 44 yards on three of 15 attempts. On the ground, Watson Bell rushed for 56 yards.

Argyle's defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-2. As for South Oak Cliff, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Argyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Oak Cliff and Randle will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. Randle will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something South Oak Cliff surely won't give up without a fight.
