Baseball Recap: Von Steuben Victorious

Von Steuben got their first taste of in-conference action on Monday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Ogden International by a score of 7-4. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against Ogden International last Friday, they had to take a 7-6 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Kayin Timble, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Matteo Banuelos was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.

Von Steuben now has a winning record of 6-5-2. As for Ogden International, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4.
