In Saturday's Canine Competition, Broadwater came out on top. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Shelby Coyotes on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Coyotes: they've now won nine in a row.

Kaitlyn Noyes paced Broadwater's offense, picking up five kills. Noyes got some help from Holly Newman and her six assists.

Broadwater's victory bumped their record up to 16-4-2. As for Shelby, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Broadwater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Huntley Project on the 4th. As for Shelby, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Chinook at 7:00 p.m.
