Softball Game Preview: Alliance Aviators vs. Washington Tigers

The Alliance Aviators will take on the Washington Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Alliance saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 6-3 to Copley. The Aviators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alliance saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily White, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Washington and Lakewood squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Washington had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rangers, falling 9-0. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Alliance, their loss dropped their record down to 8-19.

Alliance skirted past Washington 10-8 when the teams last played last Monday. Do the Aviators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
