Basketball Recap: Davidson Drops Season-High Score on Bryant

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davidson). They came out on top against the Bryant Hurricanes by a score of 68-57 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Hurricanes on January 10th, they had to take a 55-47 defeat.

Despite the loss, Bryant still got an impressive performance from Madi-Marie Grayson, who went 12 for 21 en route to 31 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Grayson has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Mari-Margret Grayson was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.

Davidson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Bryant, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 15-10 record.

Davidson has already played their next match, a 48-43 win against Murphy on the 28th. As for Bryant, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Chickasaw at 6:00 p.m.
