Softball Preview: Sheridan Yellowjackets vs. Searcy Lions
The Sheridan Yellowjackets will face off against the Searcy Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Sheridan has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Friday, Sheridan needed a bit of extra time to put away Arkansas. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Razorbacks.
Cooper Terry tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mason Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Searcy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Valley View, falling 15-3.
